Flowers & Gardens

• Registration deadline Monday, September 15, 2025.
• The Flowers and Gardens competitions are open to all residents of North Carolina.
• The NC State Fair General Fair Rules for Exhibitors apply.
• Exhibits must be delivered to the Flower House Building by entering through Gate 5 off Youth Center Road. Free parking is available in the Flower Show Parking Area for unloading purposes only.
• You may enter as many exhibits as desired, however, you may submit only one exhibit in each Class per show.
• Container-grown plants must have been in exhibitor’s possession at least 90 days,
• Premiums will be paid only from the judges’ books and not from the ribbons or entry tags.
• The Flower and Garden Show consists of three shows each with its own entry schedule.
  • First Flower Show - bring in your entries Saturday 10/11 - Sunday 10/12. See Competition Information for full schedule and deadlines.
  • Second Flower Show - bring in your entries Sunday 10/19
  • Third Flower Show - bring in your entries Thursday 10/23
