Welcome to the Graphic Design Competition Department!

• Registration Opens: Wednesday, July 1st, 2026
• Registration Closes: Tuesday, September 15th, 2026
• Entry Take-In Schedule:
  • Saturday, October 10th, 2026 from 8 AM-6 PM - Kerr Scott Building
  • Sunday, October 11th, 2026 from 8 AM-6 PM - Kerr Scott Building
  • *Mailed exhibits must be received by Monday, October 5th, 2026.
• The N.C. State Fair General Fair Rules & Regulations apply.
• Open to all schools and residents of North Carolina.
• Exhibitors are allowed one entry.
• Exhibitors will design and print an 11”x17” poster that promotes North Carolina Agriculture.
  • All entries must incorporate the text “A Memory Worth Making. A Story Worth Telling” and “North Carolina State Fair 2026”.
  • Entries MUST be designed in portrait orientation. No landscape oriented entries will be accepted.
  • Exhibitor’s name must be included on the back of each entry.
  • Poster designs must be original.
