Youth Market Turkey Show

  • Registration Opens: Tuesday, March 3rd at 9 AM
    • Entry Fee: $35
    • Completed NC Sub W-9 and Code of Ethics, Waiver, and Photo release forms (.pdf files only) are required to be uploaded during registration.
  • Registration Closes: Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 at 11:59 PM or the first 300 entries
  • Poult Pick Up: June 21st-23rd, 2026 - NC State Poultry Teaching Unit, 3841 Inwood Rd, Raleigh, 27603
    • Youth do not need to be present for Poult Pick Up; agents, teachers, or parents, may pick up for youth
  • Weigh-In: Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 - N.C. State Fairgrounds, Kelley Building
    • Youth do not need to be present for Weigh-In; agents, teachers, or parents, may drop off for youth
  • Show & Judging: Thursday, October 8th, 2026 - N.C. State Fairgrounds, Kelley Building

General Information

  • The General Rules and Regulations of the Fair will govern this department.
  • The State of North Carolina will require submission of a NC Substitute W-9 prior to making any payment of $2,000 or greater or any payment that results in a total of $2,000 or more during one calendar year from the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to any individual or entity. All exhibitors are strongly encouraged to complete and upload the NC Substitute W-9 Form to prevent any delay in receiving premium prize money.
