Disaster Response Program

The Soil and Water Conservation Commission, in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services’ Division of Soil and Water Conservation, receives special funding from the General Assembly to assist with recovery from natural disasters. Currently, the Division is working alongside local soil and water conservation districts to support farmers in repairing agricultural roads damaged by Hurricane Helene.
