No. Campfires and cooking fires (charcoal, gas, wood or other fuel) are not allowed at DuPont State Recreational Forest.

Parking lots are often completely full by 9:30 a.m. Come early or come late to increase your odds of getting a parking place. We open at 5 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. Plan Your Visit

Visitor Center in DuPont State Recreational Forest to be closed June 22-30

This closure is being implemented in the interest of public safety during new roof installation. High Falls parking lot, restrooms and area trails are open.

Turkey Knob Trail Closed at Bridge But Usable as "Out-and-Back Trail"

The bridge located on Turkey Knob Trail, one-half mile from the Pinnacle Mountain gate is closed, but the trail can still be used as an “out-and-back trail" as far as the bridge.
