Heavy Metals Tests and Fees
Heavy Metals testing is only available to clients who require this test for waste application permits issued by the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality. If you don't meet this requirement, please submit samples to a private lab. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Standard heavy metals analysis: Mehlich-3 extractable phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, sodium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, nickel, selenium, humic matter, pH and Mehlich buffer pH, weight per volume, cation exchange capacity (CEC), and base saturation.

Payment Methods
Samples must be paid for prior to them being processed through the lab.

Credit card: Reports can be paid by Visa or Mastercard on the loading dock if samples are brought in person, OR over the phone with a member from the accounting department. Call (919) 664-1600 Option 3.
