STATE'S BAN ON OPEN BURNING LIFTED FOR 81 COUNTIES BEHIND RECENT RAIN -- EFFECTIVE 5/3 @ 8 A.M.
The N.C. Forest Service has lifted a ban on all open burning for 81 counties effective 8 a.m. Sunday, May 3. The ban remains in effect for 19 counties. More Info
