Bladen Lakes State Forest (BLSF) is a North Carolina state forest near Elizabethtown. It is managed by the North Carolina Forest Service. Covering more than 33,000 acres, it is the largest state owned forest in North Carolina. Bladen Lakes comprises three parcels of land and has a total of eight compartments.
The N.C. Forest Service has lifted a ban on all open burning for 81 counties effective 8 a.m. Sunday, May 3. The ban remains in effect for 19 counties. More Info
