Join us for a focused training designed to help Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) staff, partners, and interested colleagues better understand the SWCD role in the USDA Block Grant for Hurricane Helene recovery. This $221 million federal program supports producers in the 39 disaster‑declared counties by reimbursing eligible infrastructure losses—including roads, bridges, and culverts—at rates up to 90% depending on repair standards.

This webinar will walk through each step of the SWCD role in the grant process, including site assessments, eligibility determinations, planning and design needs, cost estimating, documentation, and final checkout.

Whether you work in an eligible county, provide technical assistance, or are preparing for future disaster‑response needs, this session offers a valuable opportunity to build your skills and deepen understanding of commonly requested engineering and field practices. Time will be reserved for participant questions, and materials may be shared in advance.
