Boots Back On: An EWP Refresher
A one-day, in-the-field event designed to rebuild confidence, strengthen skills, and prepare you for disaster response work in your own community.

- Learn from DSWC & SWCD staff as they share their experience responding to Hurricane Helene—what they did, what they learned, and how they submitted successful paperwork

Certification Details:
If you are not EWP Certified, please attend the training on June 2 from 9-11 am. You will need virtual training and in-field training to become certified to complete EWP paperwork. Please register for the virtual event here.
The EWP Program offers technical and financial assistance to help local communities relieve imminent threats to life and property caused by floods, fires, windstorms and other natural disasters that impair a watershed. This training will provide a site evaluation and accompanying documentation that may be required in a site assessment. The morning portion will be in a classroom and the afternoon portion out in the field assessing a site. This event incorporates a working lunch, participants should bring a lunch.
