The N.C. Public House showcases breweries, wineries and cideries from across North Carolina. Daily offerings will include several different styles of craft beer, wine and cider, including award-winning examples of each.
Patrons of the N.C. Public House will be able to purchase a Beer+Wine ticket, which provides for your choice of two servings of wine, cider or beer. Wine servings are 3 ounces each, and beer or cider servings are 8 ounces each. Tickets may be purchased in advance or during the fair at the entrance of the NC Public House. Beer+Wine tickets are $10 each. There is a limit of one Beer+Wine ticket per person (= 2 servings), per visit to the N.C. Public House. Cheerwine soda is offered as a non-alcoholic option.
This popular attraction is a partnership with the N.C. Craft Brewers Guild. The Guild will use a portion of the proceeds for research and marketing benefiting North Carolina’s craft beer industry. North Carolina is home to 350+ craft breweries and 185 wineries.
N.C. Beer Night!
Join us at the N.C. Public House on Friday, October 24th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., for N.C. Beer Night at the Fair! Along with pouring an exciting array of beers from N.C. craft breweries, there will be several brewing education opportunities for guests. Have you ever wondered more about how beer is made or what North Carolina grains go into a good brew? Beer Night is your chance to learn. Players from the National Women's Soccer League team the Carolina Courage and their mascot Roary will also be in attendance. They'll sign autographs and help judge the annual steinholding contest.
