Facility Rental

There are three main rental options for your events; the Pavilion, Meeting Center, and the Community Building . To check availability or for more  information call  Terra Jacobs (910) 348-6140 or email terra.jacobs@ncagr.gov. During this call an available date can be temporarily held pending receipt of the forms in the relevant rental packet and a deposit. Our staff will be able to answer questions you may have that are not addressed on our website and give you instructions to confirm the date. Please follow instructions in the packets and return only required forms. Retain the remainder for your records. Upon receipt of your paperwork, a contract will be mailed or emailed. The contract will require a signature and a deposit before the date is confirmed.

 

Pavilion

The Pavilion is 55,000 square feet total and has a show ring that is 136' x 240'. It also offers ticket office, concession area, catering options,  show office, hospitality room, event control room and lots of restrooms. There is an outdoor lighted arena and warm up ring.

For equestrian events, the facility currently has 100 stalls in two newly constructed barns (Barn A and Barn B) located near the pavilion. There are an additional 64 stalls located on the former farmer's market side of the facility. We have an outdoor warm up arena and 40 RV hook ups with power and water.

Pavilion Fee Schedule

  • Pavilion - Equine Shows - $800/day or 12% gate
  • Pavilion – Non-Equine Shows - $1,100/day or 12% gate
  • Stalls - 1 Day Show - $25/stall
  • Stalls - 2 Day Show - $30/stall
  • Stalls - 3 Day Show - $35/stall
  • Stalls - 4 Day Show - $40/stall
  • RV Hookups (water & electric) - $25/night or day ($20 dry camping)
  • Outside Space - $.12/sq. yard/day ($500-day min/day)
  • Building Overtime - $150/hour
  • Vendor (Inside/Outside) - $25/vendor/event
  • Vendor using electricity & water - $50/vendor/event
  • Outside/Food Truck - $50/2-day show
  • Shavings (Shavings from outside sources are not allowed.) - $7/bag
  • Outside Riding Ring - $400 event
  • Livestock Panels - $3/section/event
  • Jumps - $75/day/event
  • Pole Bending Set/Bridge/Water Trough - $25/each/event
  • Bleachers - $25 (to move inside arena or outside of building)
  • Tables/Chairs (weddings, parties, concerts, etc.) - $2/table and $1/chair
  • Cordless Microphone - $50/event
  • Picnic Tables - $20/event
  • Showing out of trailer - $5/event
  • Individual Day Riding - $20/per horse
  • Cattle Clean Up Fee - $250/event
Barns & Stalls

For equestrian events, the facility currently has 100 stalls in two barns (Barns A and B) located near the pavilion. There are an additional 64 overflow stalls located adjacent to the Community Building.

  • Barns A and B: Permanent stalls are 10' x 10' with wooden walls, bars on doors and dirt floors.
  • Overflow Stalls: Temporary stalls are 10' x 10' with bars on doors and concrete floors.
  • Shavings must be purchased onsite and are available to show managers for a cost of $7/bag. This cost will vary with show to participants and the amount charged is determined by the individual event.

An overtime fee of $150 charged per hour, will be STRONGLY enforced and billed to the events final invoice, should the contracted party not be out of the building or off the grounds by the appropriate time. Please make sure to read all Pavilion rules and regulations thoroughly.

 

Meeting Center

The Meeting Center is large climate controlled event space containing over 10,000 total square feet. The entire facility can be reserved or the space can be broken down into smaller rooms. The facility is adaptable to your needs and suitable for events such as weddings, banquets, trade shows, educational seminars, celebrations and many other uses.

Full Facility (Halls A, B and C)
Seating: 1000 people theater style or 520 banquet style - $1000

Two Halls (Halls A and B or Halls B and C)
Seating: 400 people theater style or  380 banquet style - $800

Individual Hall (Hall A, B or C)
Seating: 200 people theater style or 190 banquet style - $600

Individual Room (Half of one Hall/Room 1, 2, 3 or 4)
Seating: 100 people theater style or 70 banquet style - $400
 

Food and Beverage    
Kitchen use per event (2 or more meals) - $250
Kitchen use per event (1 meal) - $150
Food Service (No Kitchen Use) - $100

Building rental hours are 8 am to closing at 11 pm. An overtime fee of $150 per hour, will be STRONGLY enforced and billed to the events final invoice, should the contracted party not be out of the building by the appropriate time. Alcohol Policy
Special permits may be obtained from local authorities to serve alcohol and a copy of the permit must be provided to the manager before the scheduled event. Anytime alcohol is being served for any event the renter must provide at least one law officer on the premise at all times during such event. This expense must be paid by the renter and the officer providing this security must meet the approval of the facility manager in writing along with the alcohol permit.

 

Community Building

The Community Building is in the building that was formerly the Farmers Market. This area contains 10,200 square feet and has a concrete floor. The building is heated but has no air conditioning. It has roll up doors that may be left open for cross ventilation, if appropriate for the event. This space is adaptable for many types of events and has been used for family reunions, weddings, dog shows, revivals, birthday parties and small business meetings.

The facility closes at 11 pm. Buildings and grounds should be vacated by closing.
