
Southern Farm Show Feb. 1-3 in Raleigh
The Southern Farm Show will be held Feb 1-3 at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. The event is the largest agricultural trade show in the Carolinas and Virginia, drawing more than 400 equipment dealers, agribusinesses, agricultural consultants and related businesses.
A number of special industry meetings will be held during the farm show, including the N.C. Pork Conference and the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Agricultural Development Forum on Feb. 2; the Tobacco Farm Life Museum breakfast benefit and the annual meeting of the Tobacco Growers Association of North Carolina on Feb. 3.
Pesticide continuing education credits are offered through workshops during the show. In addition, the Southern National Draft Horse Pull and Coon Mule Jump will be held Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. in the Hunt Horse Complex.
