Got to Be NC Big Cart hitting the road

The Got to Be NC Big Cart is hitting the road with several N.C. food companies to help Piggly Wiggly celebrate its 100th anniversary.

The 13-foot-tall by 15-foot-long shopping cart with a Chevrolet 396 V-8 engine is a big hit wherever it goes. The Big Cart is completely sponsor-supported.

During the celebration, Piggly Wiggly will host truckload sales featuring the following N.C. food companies: Bright Leaf Hot Dogs, Pender Packing Co., Pepsi, Porky’s Place BBQ Sauce, Star Food Products, Stevens Sausage Co. and WayCo Ham Co.
