Ag Development Forum Feb. 5 in Raleigh

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will deliver his annual State of Agriculture address and serve as host of the annual Ag Development Forum Feb. 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Holshouser Building at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.

Also on the program is a moderated panel discussion on “The Potential and Benefits of Agriculture/Military Partnerships,” which will feature buyers from organizations and businesses that supply food for military bases, including Military Produce Group, Defense Commissary, Defense Logistics Agency and Foster Caviness. Following the program, buyers will be available to talk to farmers about potential sales opportunities.
