Agricultural Review

On the Horizon

There is no shortage of fresh fruits and vegetables at farmers markets and in stores. Many commodities are in season now and even more will be coming into season in the coming months.

Among the many offer-ings at the markets, shoppers can find beans, butter beans, cabbage, cantaloupes, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, field peas, leafy greens, okra, peaches, peppers, potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, tomatoes and watermelons.
