On the Horizon

It is just about time to put this year's winter behind us. No doubt March can still hit us with its share of cold-weather surprises, but it is also the time of year when folks start to see more activity return at farmers markets across the state.

Visitors will find plants, greenhouse vegetables, cool-season lettuces and more at the markets. In addition, a number of special events are planned for March and April.
