On the Horizon

Four upcoming workshops aimed at food entrepreneurs are planned across the state.

Following are workshop dates, titles and locations:

• Aug. 11 – “Making Media Work for Your Food Business,” Virginia Boone Building, West-ern N.C. Ag Center in Fletcher. Registration opens July 6.
• Aug. 17 – “Making Media Work for Your Food Business,” Conference Center, Cunningham Research Station in Kinston. Registration opens July 1.
• Nov. 9 – “The Secrets of Marketing and Selling Success,” Virginia Boone Building, Western N.C. Ag Center in Fletcher. Registration opens Oct. 2.
• Nov. 16 – “The Secrets of Marketing and Selling Success,” Conference Center, Cunningham Research Station in Kinston. Registration opens Oct. 4.

Workshops cost $30 each, which includes materials and lunch. The registration dead-line is the week prior to the event date. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.
