NCDA&CS hosts congressional staffs for AgFirst event

The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services recently hosted members of North Carolina’s congressional delegation and their staff for a session on food safety. The department highlighted some of the ways it works to ensure a safe food supply, including a recent recall of Castleberry Foods brand of chili, beef stew, corned beef hash and flavors of canned dog food.

Reps. Bob Etheridge and Walter B. Jones both attended the event.
