Back Achers Christmas Tree Farm

Beautiful trees and incomparable service

About Us
Our trees are grown by an old man with a white moustache who was trained as a forester much closer to the North Pole than we are here. This gave him many opportunities to consult with Santa Claus and other experts on how to grow the perfect tree.

We sell about a thousand trees each year, mostly to repeat customers. Most of our customers come from Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Apex, Holly Springs and Clayton. Others come from as far away as Wake Forest, Lillington and Fayetteville.

Bring the children and let them romp among the trees. Bring the dog too, but keep him on a leash. Also, bring the video to record all the fun and frolicking.

Our Products
Christmas Trees, Choose & cut, Leyland Cypress, Virginia Pine, White Pine, Cedar, Thuja gigantea, Carolina Sapphire, Juniper; Pre-cut, Fraser Fir.

Stands, White Pine roping, wreaths, 6" to 36", sized to order, bows and other wreath ornamentation.

We have a large selection of Avon collectibles, very reasonably priced.

We also have a supply of catnip bags for your favorite feline.

From Cary, come east on Tryon Road to Lake Wheeler Road. From Durham and points west follow Interstate 40 east to Gorman Street, Exit 295. At ramp end, turn south onto Gorman, come one quarter mile to Tryon; turn left onto Tryon, and come 1.3 miles to Lake Wheeler Road. From points east and north of Raleigh, come on the Beltline to Lake Wheeler Road, exit 297, come south, up the hill, away from Raleigh; the second traffic light is at the intersection with Tryon Road. From Garner, or points south of Raleigh on US401, come west on Tryon Road to Lake Wheeler Road.

From the intersection of Lake Wheeler Road and Tryon, come south on Lake Wheeler Road 0.9 miles to Inwood Road. A seasonal sign at that intersection directs the Christmas Tree hunter to the farm.

Hours of Operation
10:00AM - 5:00PM, or later, by appointment, to view remaining Fraser Firs under lights.

To reduce weekend traffic congestion we offer two discounts if you pick up your tree on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday:
1) no charge for bagging your tree, and
2) a further one dollar discount on the cost of the tree.

We allow tree reservation. We even have a special tree reservation day - Nov. 17, when we will be serving cider or apple juice and cookies. Then, if you call us a day or two before you want to get your tree, we can have it cut, machine-shaken (to remove dead needles), bagged and ready to pick up when you get here.
