About US
Located in the lovely rolling hills of northeast Randolph county, Goat Lady Dairy farm and its log buildings are more than 200 years old. Our family began restoring 60 acres of the original homestead in 1983. Today our working farm is rich in the diversity of pastures, ponds, meadows, gardens, woodlands, wildlife and livestock. Using sustainable agriculture, we work with nature to enrich rather than deplete our environment. We intentionally limit the size of our farm operation in order to maintain the personal quality of our products and continue to enjoy what we do everyday. In addition to our handmade farmstead cheeses, we offer Dining Adventures via Dinner at the Dairy along with hosting Private Events and an organic vegetable Community Supported Agriculture program. Our mission is to nurture the land, our family, and our guests through creative work and quality products.

Dinner at the Dairy - This is why you have tastebuds. Fresh, local, naturally delicious foods. Such colors and textures, amazing aromas, and delectable flavors-suddenly your senses become fully awake. When you dine with us at Goat Lady Dairy, you'll actually "experience" your food. As you arrive, enjoy appetizers while relaxing on our porch. Then, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at a working farm on our signature farm tour. Finally, you'll move leisurely into a "guided" multi-course dinner, which includes a tasting of our nationally famous cheeses. This is genuine farm-to-fork slow-food eating. And once you get a taste of it, you'll have a whole new appreciation of where your food comes from. Visit www.dinnersatgld.blogspot.com for more information.

Weddings at Goat Lady Dairy - We host and cater wedding ceremonies & receptions on our farm, which is located about thirty minutes outside of Greensboro, NC. We can accommodate up to 150 guests on our property. We provide the following for our wedding clients: 1. A simple planning process for the bride & groom. We believe a wedding should be fun and exciting to plan, not stressful. 2. A beautiful, natural environment. Our decorations are gardens, goats, and chickens! 3. Delicious, farm-fresh food at your reception. All of our food is made from ingredients sourced from our farms or other local farms. 4. A comfortable atmosphere in which you (and your guests!) can relax and truly enjoy your wedding. Visit www.weddingsatgld.blogspot.com for more information.
