Native Vines Winery is the 1st Native American owned and operated winery in the US. Located at the Southern Gateway of the Yadkin Valley Viticulture Appellation, in Lexington, NC. The winery has been producing award winning wines since 1998. We offer a full line of vinifera wines, and our famous Sweet Fruit wines. Native Vines has created the 1st Green Tea Wine and is expanding to include a full line of flavored tea wines.

The winery is owned by Darlene Gabbard, a member of the Lumbee Tribe of NC, and Nick Gabbard from Elkin, NC. Darlene is the winemaker and Nick oversees the vineyard operation.

The farm has been in the family for generations and also produces many fruits and vegetables. Darlene also produces a line of jellies, jams and soaps.
