Hawthorne Farm offers educational opportunites in a fun and safe environment. Take a hayride tour of an Indian Village and see dwellings of Native Americans from the 1700s. Pass by a 15' x 15' Early American log cabin that eight people would have shared as living quarters. View farm animals in their natural setting while on the tour. Visit the chicken yard, see the outhouse, haystack, mounted animals native to this area, and the antique farming equipment.

School groups, churches, reunions, Scouts, birthday parties, tour groups, adult groups, daycares, and families welcome.

Hawthorne Farm is located in Sampson County in the McDaniel Crossroads community. From Roseboro: Traveling Hwy. 24 E, turn right onto Andrews Chapel Rd. Left onto Fleet Cooper Rd. 1.2 miles right onto Hobbs Rd. 2.2 miles left into Hawthorne Farm. From Garland: Take Hwy. 411 (7.7 miles) to McDaniel Crossroads. Right onto Boykin Bridge Rd. 1.4 miles, take left onto Hobbs Rd. Travel 0.8 mile, take right into Hawthorne Farm. From Clinton: Traveling Hwy. 24 W, turn left onto Fleet Cooper Rd. Turn on 4th road to left onto Hobbs Rd. 2.2 miles left into Hawthorne Farm.
