Watershed Initiatives - Grants Projects
The Division regularly partners with Soil and Water Conservation Districts to apply for grants from various funding entities around the country. These projects range from site-specific mini-grants to regional project implementation grants that cover some, if not all of the state of North Carolina. The Division has documented grant-funded success stories throughout the years, and landowners across the state have benefitted from leveraging the resources of the Soil and Water Conservation partnership in order to deliver implementation dollars more efficiently and effectively to local communities. Some of our active grant projects are displayed below with their respective outreach and publication materials.
