One of the four units that comprise the Veterinary Division, the Livestock Animal Health Programs unit works to ensure the health and safety of livestock within the state of North Carolina.

Working with veterinarians, federal and state agencies, and industry partners, the Livestock Animal Health Programs unit works to detect and monitor diseases, issue licenses and insure compliance with all North Carolina and Federal laws and statutes.
