To protect the health and safety of the public and the environment by regulating the structural pest control industry and the pesticide products used, to improve the quality of structural pest control services and reduce fraudulent, unscrupulous activities.

EMAIL ADDRESS FOR SENDING COI/CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
When it is time to send in an original, or updated, certificate of insurance, you can now have it emailed directly to firstname.lastname@example.org. This address will get the insurance information to the appropriate people, who handle getting your insurance information updated in your account. Please let your insurance company know about this email address, the next time you are due to have yours updated with the Division.

Fees for Cardholders
Registered Technician (RT card)- $40.00 for new card and/or renewal
Certified Applicators (CA card)- $50.00 for new card and/or renewal
License (Lic) - $200.00 for first phase/
$75.00 for each additional phase
There is a $10.00 fee to transfer License
There is a $5.00 fee to transfer Certified Applicator Cards
Registered Technican (RT) Cards are not transferable
RT Cards are purchased for $40.00
There is a $5.00 duplication fee for any card which is lost, damaged or destroyed
** The fee for attending the Registered Technician Training Program has not changed. This fee is still $25.00**
The Structural Pest Control Section (SPC) is a regulatory agency responsible for the administration of the Structural Pest Control Law and the Rules adopted thereunder by the Structural Pest Control Committee (SPCC).
***The North Carolina Structural Pest Control Committee issued a directive effective immediately. All persons applying to take the license exam must submit a Criminal Background Check with your 9 page application. No applications without a background check will be accepted by SPC.***
