State Farmers Market to host ‘Weekend Gardener’
|
| WHAT: | Popular radio show “Weekend Gardener” will broadcast live tomorrow at the State Farmers Market. Hosts Mike Raley and Anne Clapp from radio station WPTF 680 AM will discuss gardening tips and tricks, and give away recipes, prizes and biscuits from the State Farmers Market Restaurant. The farmers market has a large variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, including peaches, tomatoes, watermelon, corn, cantaloupe, squash, cucumbers, peas, as well as plants, herbs and cut flowers. In the Market Shoppes, visitors can shop for an array of peach products, as well as custom picture framing, meats and cheeses, fruit and gift baskets and Goodness Grows in North Carolina products. |
