Thursday’s Ag Forum will focus on year ahead
ninth annual Ag Development Forum, featuring keynote speaker Alejandro Sayago, director of corporate business development and governmental sales with John Deere. He will give an economic, policy and technology outlook for agriculture for 2014.
Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will deliver his annual State of Agriculture address, and representatives of state agencies will take part in a panel discussion about interagency cooperation for agribusiness development. In addition, Dr. Dan McChesney of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration will present information about the proposed federal rule on preventive controls for animal feed.
