Mountain State Fair announces swine show winners

FLETCHER – The N.C. Mountain State Fair announced the following winners from the swine shows held Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Western N.C. Agricultural Center:

Senior Market Swine

  • Grand champion shown by Tina Jones of Buncombe County
  • Reserve grand champion shown by Kathy Mackey of Madison County

Junior Market Swine

  • Grand champion shown by Lauren Thomas of Buncombe County
  • Reserve grand champion shown by Lily Kate Plummer of Haywood County

Other awards

  • Supreme champion shown by Lauren Thomas of Buncombe County
  • Reserve supreme champion shown by Lily Kate Plummer of Haywood County
