Agritourism mini-conference to be held Jan. 13 in Greenville
| WHAT: |
The N.C. Agritourism Networking Association is hosting a daylong mini-conference, “Successful Farms in the 2012 Economy,” at the City Hotel & Bistro in Greenville. In addition to the association’s business meeting, topics to be covered include ”Keeping Your Farm Successful in Today’s Economy,” two hands-on laptop learning sessions on social media, evaluating how your farm is doing, and visitors’ first impressions. A tour of Brock’s Berries and Produce agritourism farm will take place after the conference adjourns. |

The workshop is open to NCANA members, rural tourism professionals and anyone interested in, or operating, an agritourism farm, Christmas tree operation, vineyard, pick-your-own stand or a farm market. Registration is required and is $40 for ANA members, $45 for non-members and $30 for Cooperative Extension staff. The deadline to register is Jan. 6. |
