Troxler to view tornado-damaged farms today

WHO/WHAT: Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will view tornado damage on farms in eastern North Carolina, with stops in Lee, Johnston and Bertie counties.
SCHEDULE*:

9:30 a.m. – Fly to Lee County.
10 a.m. – Visit Steve Thomas’ farm on Lemon Springs Road in Sanford.
11 a.m. – Fly to Johnston County.
Noon – Visit Lee & Sons Nursery & Garden Center, 233 N.C. Highway 96 S., Four Oaks, and Rickie Norris’ farm, 7763 Stricklands Crossroads Road, Four Oaks.
1 p.m. – Fly to Bertie County.
2 p.m. – Visit Mack Perry’s farm, 433 Morris Ford Road, Colerain.                                 3 p.m. – Fly back to Raleigh.
