Troxler to speak at Governor's Logistics Task Force meeting

| WHO/WHAT: | Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will speak to members of the Governor’s Logistics Task Force about infrastructure improvements that would boost North Carolina agricultural exports. |
| WHEN/WHERE: | Monday, April 18; Troxler will speak at 11:30 a.m. Joslyn Hall in the McGee Building Carteret Community College 3505 Arendell St. Morehead City |
| WHY: | Improvements to North Carolina’s ports — and better rail access to them — would allow more agricultural products to be shipped from North Carolina instead of ports in Virginia and South Carolina. |
| OTHER INFO: | Created by Executive Order in 2009, the Governor’s Logistics Task Force reviews transportation systems in North Carolina, including roads and highways, airports, ports, multimodal transportation and railroads. Lt. Gov. Walter Dalton chairs the task force. |
