MORE INFO:

The Market Shoppes offer a large selection of N.C. products and gift ideas, including meats and cheeses, jams and jellies, baked goods, coffee, candy, gift baskets, crafts, candles, soaps and wines. Seasonal produce, firewood and N.C. Christmas trees also are available in the Farmers Building.

The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle recovers good food that would otherwise be discarded to feed the hungry in Wake, Durham, Orange, Chatham, Johnston, Edgecombe and Nash counties. Since 1991, the State Farmers Market has worked with the food shuttle to recover fruits and vegetables from market vendors.
