Food marketing workshop scheduled
for Jan. 12 rescheduled to April 20

RALEIGH -- A one-day food marketing workshop offered by the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services that was scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 12, has been rescheduled for April 20.

The April 20 date for “Food Marketing in the Real World” will lead off the Western North Carolina Food Marketing Series. The registration period for that workshop will open Tuesday, Jan. 12. Go to www.ncagr.gov/markets/agbizmarketing.htm for a registration form or call Annette Dunlap at (919) 733-7887, ext. 257.

The workshop is geared toward food entrepreneurs who may be interested in expanding their smaller, value-added food venture. The workshop cost is $30, which covers materials and lunch. Space is limited to 40 participants.
