State Farmers Market to host
Spring Fling at the Market Shoppes Thursday, May 27

The Got to Be NC Festival may be over, but the celebration of agriculture and local food products continues with the Spring Fling at the Market Shoppes. Vendors will offer a large selection of North Carolina products, including jellies, sauces, peanuts, baked goods, meats and cheeses for sample and sale. There also will be wine tastings from select N.C. wineries.
The event will include face painting and balloon art with B.B. the Clown, as well as prize drawings for concert tickets and gift certificates from Market Shoppes vendors. In addition, there will be appearances by Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler, Miss North Carolina and the Got to Be NC Big Cart.
