Commissioner Troxler to lead antique-tractor parade
at Got to Be NC Festival Friday at 11 a.m.

WHO/WHAT: Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will lead a parade of antique tractors around the State Fairgrounds during the Got to Be NC Festival. He will be available for interviews following the parade.
WHEN: Friday, May 29, 11 a.m.

State Fairgrounds, Raleigh
Tractors will assemble near the Martin Building. They will move through the fairgrounds in a counter-clockwise direction. The parade will end at the Midway.


Troxler will be driving a 1943 John Deere LA tractor that he recently restored.

Hundreds of antique tractors will be on display throughout the festival. Add in harvesters, bailers and other implements, and all total, about 1,000 pieces of antique farm equipment will be on display this weekend.

Tractor parades will take place each day at 11 a.m.
