State Farmers Market to host Pecan Day Friday, Nov. 21

WHAT:	The State Farmers Market and the N.C. Pecan Growers Association will host their annual Pecan Day Friday, Nov. 21. Free pecan samples, recipes and educational materials will be available. Admission is free.
WHEN:	Friday, Nov. 21 11 a.m. — 1 p.m.
WHERE:	Farmers Building State Farmers Market 1201 Agriculture St. Interstate 40, exit 297, Lake Wheeler Road
WHO:	Pecan Day is sponsored by the N.C. Pecan Growers Association and the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
MORE INFO:	The Farmers Market has a large variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, including pumpkins, mums, pansies, apples, peanuts, sweet potatoes, greens, tomatoes, firewood and honey, as well as North Carolina Christmas trees, wreaths and roping.
