RALEIGH - The North Carolina Pecan Growers Association will host its annual meeting, educational workshop and orchard tour on Saturday, March 24, at the Johnston County Agriculture Extension Office in Smithfield.

The workshop, which costs $15, features educational sessions, lunch and a tour of a nearby orchard. Representatives from the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, N.C. State University, NCPGA and other experts in the pecan industry will present information during the educational sessions and will be available throughout the day to interact with attendees.
