State Farmers Market to host ClayFest Fall
Pottery Festival Saturday, Sept. 19

WHAT:

The free ClayFest Fall Pottery Festival is hosted by the Triangle Potters Guild, a local organization of more than 50 members dedicated to educating the public and encouraging local potters of all levels to continue to create pottery.

More than 20 Triangle-area potters will sell their wares in the Farmers Building, and a children’s painting booth will let children create their own masterpieces with paints from a variety of clays. Demonstrations with traditional potter wheels, coils and slabs will also be set up, and a variety of competitions will be held throughout the day to test amateur and professional potters’ speed and skill.

Saturday, Sept. 19
9 a.m. — 4 p.m.

Craft shed beside the N.C. Seafood Restaurant
