Mountain State Fair names winners in feeder calf and swine shows

FLETCHER – The N.C. Mountain State Fair announced winners in feeder calf and swine competitions held during its 20th run at the WNC Agricultural Center. Following are winners by department:

Open Feeder Calf Pen Show

  • Grand champion pen of feeder calves shown by Jackson Reeves of Buncombe County.
  • Reserve grand champion pen of feeder calves shown by Harold Gillespie of Buncombe County.

Market Swine Show

  • Grand champion junior market swine shown by Elijah Morgan of Buncombe County.
  • Reserve grand champion junior market swine shown by Blake Davidson of Buncombe County.
  • Grand champion senior market swine shown by Tina Jones of Buncombe County.
  • Reserve grand champion senior market swine shown by Sonia Worley of Buncombe County.
  • Supreme champion market swine shown by Elijah Morgan of Buncombe County.
  • Reserve supreme champion market swine shown by Tina Jones of Buncombe County.
