Come to the Got to Be NC Festival May 18-20 at the State Fairgrounds

The Food and Wine Expo is one of the many highlights of the Got to Be NC Festival at the State Fairgrounds. Visitors can sample North Carolina products and wine, and even purchase some to take home. Other activities include a daily tractor parade and displays. Festival hours are Friday, noon to midnight; Saturday, 9 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more, go to www.gottobencfestival.com

Got to Be NC Festival special events

Friday:
- Classic Car Show – noon to 6 p.m. Near Dorton Arena
- Cookbook signing in the Food & Wine Expo – noon to 8 p.m. Expo Building (Admission)
-Childrens' Stick Horse Races – 4 p.m. Grandstand
- Draft Horse Pull – 6 p.m. Grandstand

Saturday:
- Carolina Roller Girls – 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Dorton Arena
- Mason's Pig Jig BBQ cook off– 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Beside Expo Building (Admission)
- Bluegrass Competition – 11 a.m. Dorton Arena Outdoor Stage
-Ray Price Harley Davidson Ride In – 1 p.m. Near Dorton Arena
- Tractor Pull – 7 p.m. Grandstand

Sunday:
- BMX Bike Jam – 9 a.m. Dorton Arena
Daily:
- Food & Wine Expo featuring all North Carolina products – Expo Building (Admission)
- FiberFest – crafting, spinning, weaving & dyeing activities; plus special classes – Graham Building
- Antique Farm Equipment – on display and a daily tractor parade around the grounds – Midway
- Shriners Fish Fry for charity – Grounds
- N.C. Food Vendors – Grounds
- Rocky the Trick Mule – Grandstand
