The Little Herb House

The little house to remember!

Lisa Treadaway, the proprietress of The Little Herb House, founded her family's herb farm seven years ago on their 30-acre horse farm. Part of the horse pasture was converted to a 10,000 sq.ft. display herb garden, with 8 different themes. An old horse barn was renovated to house the gift shop, workshop area and drying loft for the wonderful herbal products that Lisa sells. A small greenhouse was built to propagate the variety of herb plants for sell that are also displayed in her gardens. The Little Herb House gardens have been featured in Our State magazine (April 2004) and numerous newspaper articles throughout the State.

From I-40, take the Farmer's Market/ Lake Wheeler Rd. exit.
Go south on Lake Wheeler Rd. to Ten-Ten Rd.
Turn left onto Ten-Ten.
Follow Ten-Ten, crossing over Old Stage Rd.
Turn right onto Holland Church Rd.
Go 2 miles and the Little Herb House farm is on the right.
