Apple Hill Orchard & Cider Mill, located in the South Mountains of Western North Carolina, is a family tradition where apples have been grown continuously since 1930. In addition to apples and our award winning apple cider you will find an apple themed County Store, the Apple Pickin' Picnic Shelter, education and group tours by reservation, Saturday wagon tours of the orchard, and indoor restrooms.
In the Country Store you will find a large selection of jams, preserves, delicious apple butters, baking mixes, and fudge. From cheeses to gifts with a country flavor we have something for everyone. Sample at least one of the 14 varieties of apple we grow. Our apple cider slushie has become a fall favorite. Perhaps the apple grading line will be in operation or the cider mill running during your visit.
Pick-Your-Own has become another favorite fall activity at Apple Hill Orchard & Cider Mill.
Education and group tours are available by reservation. Educational tours include a visit to the Cider Mill, apple grading line, apple cold storage, a lesson on bees, tasting apples, and a tractor pulled wagon ride through the orchard and farm.
Apples, peaches, nectarines, jams, jellies, baking mixes, apple cider, goat's milk soap and lotion, cheese, fudge, and other items with a unique country flavor.
