Julia's Pantry, LLC was inspired by Julia Kelly Washington, mother and grandmother. We use her traditional southern recipes to create tasteful & flavorful mixes, sauces and seasonings. Four generations play a part in the creation of our products. We want you to leave the table filled with the joy of eating delicious, simple Southern cooking.
My mother always set a southern table
and even while working outside the home
for financial reasons. We always had
homemade biscuits at breakfast even
though as a child I begged for corn
flakes. Dinner was an event every night
with a meat plus numerious vegetables
such as greens, butter beans, sliced
tomatoes, fried orkra, cornbread and a
jar of peppers in vinegar. The quality
is set very high on our products since
the taste and texture of our products
must conform to a true southern taste
test that was established by my mother's
cooking
Our goal is to produce high quality food
products based on southern tradition and
family recipes. We carefully select our
suppliers and work daily to integrate
all-natural, organic, kosher and
preservative-free ingredients, in order
to provide customers affordable,
healthy, southern food alternatives.
Our new recipes are prepared and served
to a variety of folks to ensure that
they meet our “high taste standards”. As
one of our efforts to conserve
resources, we continually seek out
alternatives to reduce our impact on the
environment. We invite your comments and
suggestions as part of our commitment to
continuously improve our products.
