Naturally Raised Lamb
The Dorper breed was developed in South
Africa for extensive farming in arid
regions but are today found all over
the world. Crossbreeding to Dorper
sheep improves size and vigor of the
lambs.� Many of our customers are
converted and come back year after year
to the quality lamb meat the Dorper
cross produces. We do not slaughter
lambs here, but we can direct you to
several processors in the area.
In addition to selling lambs for the
slaughter market, we also have older
lambs and dog-broke sheep available for
sale as herding animals or breeding
stock.
Andrews Glenn Farm also offers
sheepherding lessons! The sheep portion
of our operation actually arose as a
complement to the dog-training services
at the farm. We specialize in
training dogs and their handlers to
work livestock (sheep/goats, ducks,
cattle) in a calm, effective
fashion. We also offer training in
obedience and agility!

interested in looking at sheep, we need
to know you're coming so we can get
them up and contained for you!
