The Wilson Botanical Gardens (WBG) were started in the 1990's and are maintained by the Wilson County Master Gardener Volunteers. This decade will see a major expansion of the WBG into a public garden designed for enjoyment and education.
The WBG now offers turf grass demonstartion plots, arboretum, plant testing and evaluation garden, mixed planting garden, native garden, 4-H and Youth garden, and greenhouse.
The WBG is a work in progress and we invite you to visit, support us and most importantly ENJOY.
HWY 264 to HWY 301 N. Turn left on Goldsboro Street, second light after Wilson County Fair Grounds. Third large building on left with large flag pole.
Dawn to Dusk, 365 days a year.
Staff available M-F 8 Am until 5 PM.
Guided tours available.
