Come Feed the Animals!
The Lazy 5, located between interstates 85 and 77 in Piedmont, North Carolina, features over 700 animals from around the world. On your 3 1/2 mile safari through the gently sloping pasturelands, you will experience animals from six continents.
Take plenty of time to study their behavior from the safety of your own car or make reservations for one of our horse drawn wagon rides. This is a drive-through experience unique in North Carolina. There is no other collection of animals like this in the Southeast.

The Lazy 5 Drive-Thru Ranch is located on NC 150, 10 miles east of 77 (Mooresville, NC) and 14 miles from Interstate 85 (Salisbury, NC). Take Exit 36 in Mooresville or Exit 75 in Salisbury.
Monday thru Saturday we open at 9am and Sundays we open at 1pm. Everyday we close one hour before sunset.
