Mike's farm

Mike's farm is family owned and operated in the Back Swamp area. On our farm we raise Christmas trees, strawberries, Spring vegetables, and pumpkins. We also have an animal petting area with feed machines for children.

Fall & Christmas are our peak times of the year. There is an on site gift shop, bakery, and restaurant with banquet room facilities. We host weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, Christmas parties, as well as bus tour groups.

Hayrides are a big part of our farming operation. In the Fall there are weekend hayrides for pumpkin picking, a haunted Halloween hayride(sponsored by our local fire department) and a Christmas Light Show (lighted night time hayride) beginning Thanksgiving night.

We are located on 1600 Haw Branch Road, approximately 20 minutes from Jacksonville, N.C. Take NC hwy 111 just off of 258 North. Go past the Albert J. Ellis Airport (on left). Haw Branch road will be 1/2 mile on right. Entrance to farm is 2 miles on left.

Our farm is open year round with extended holiday hours. The gift shop/bakery is open Thursday-Saturday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm. Sunday 12:00 - 3:00 pm. Restaurant hours are Thursday - Saturday 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 - 3:00 pm. Call for more information or a brochure.
