About US
We have a flight house and a small presentation area to entertain our visitors. The group tour will last 40-45 minutes, and include a 20 minute presentation and question and answer session covering the Monarch, its lifecycle, nectar plants, etc. The children especially love this part, as volunteers from the audience are dressed up as a butterfly - laughter abounds during the presentation!

Then the tour of the flighthouse - filled with lovely Monarchs that are busy nectaring on plants and feeders, and breeding and laying eggs on host plants in the house. A beautiful fountain offers a serene, relaxing atmosphere. The children will be directed to each stage of the lifecycle, from egg to caterpillar (all instars) and will be able to observe butterflies up close! Monarchs are very friendly - don't be surprised if they land on your shoulder, especially if you are wearing bright clothing.

A fun-filled day for all! We have several picnic tables available around the flight house if your group wants to enjoy a bagged lunch in the country.
