Food and Family Fun on the Farm

We are a seasonal farm market specializing in strawberries, blackberries, peaches, muscadines, and pumpkins. We grow some other vegetables and fruits and sell local produce as available when our crops are in season. We have our own strawberry and blackberry cider and offer homemade berry breads and other goodies.
We aim to provide family fun and
education in a relaxed atmosphere.
During all seasons we have picnic tables
and a playground available for the kids.
Farm tours are available for school
groups for berry picking in the spring
and for pumpkin picking in the fall. To
schedule call 704 748 1488.
In late September and October we have a
Fall Festival atmosphere with lots of
fun and educational activities including
wagon rides, an old.fashioned corn and
hay play area, a nature trail based on
NC wildlife, a "Berry Land Maze",and a
food and farms learning center called
"Pumpkin Land". We offer tours for
school and preschool groups by
appointment. Call 704 748 1488 to

| Our strawberries will begin mid April with the peak season coming in early May . We grow some the old-fashioned way with straw mulch plus some on plastic. Price varies by type and container size(from $6.50 to $9 per gallon). We expect to offer quantity specials this year for you-pick on straw. Our other berries and peaches will come in June and July, but earlier than usual in 2012. Our u-pick price for blackberries is $8 per gallon. We have educational and play activities for children and picnic tables available if you are looking for an outing. And of course we have plenty of ready-picked berries for those who don't like picking, with prices varying by type and container size. We also have lots of strawberry and blackberry cider that taste great and are rich in antioxidants. These may be purchased any time of the year by calling our home number--704 748 1488.
